Hey sweet girl!
FINALLY mommy has her computer back!!! YOU TOOK YOUR FIRST STEPS!!! Yay you!!! You were playing in the living room and I was talking on the phone to Aunt Kelli, then I looked over just in time to see you take one step and then another towards Charlie!! What a big girl!!
We've been having some fun around town, but some of the most fun we have is playing around the house. You are CRAZY about the box of Band-Aids...too funny! We also had a silly time eating dinner the other night and you giggled like crazy! You liked all the animals at the fair, but you really loved all the treats we gave you. You're such a happy baby, and I'm so lucky to spend my days with you. Right now you're all snugged up next to me with your leg practically across my computer. I love watching you sleep. Even though you're getting to be a big girl, I still have to put my hand on your belly during the night to make sure I can feel your breath...must be a mommy thing.
I love you bunches!

Q-Tips
Baby Boo,
A random title for this post, but I always want to remember the little things you do that bring you so much joy. A few nights ago, you were destroying the bathroom and I was sitting with you as you pulled out a box of Q-Tips. You dug into the box, and then one by one, threw them into the bathtub...each time looking at me as if you couldn't believe how much fun you were having! I wish I could freeze moments like that...something so simple as Q-Tips in the bathtub (over and over, because Mommy would pull them all out for you to throw in again), yet we had the best time. Your little smile warms my heart, and I feel so blessed that I get to share all of the little things with you. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE YOU!!!

One Year Ago Today
Precious,
One year ago today, you were three days old...our tiny, precious little baby girl in the NICU, getting ready for surgery. Mommy and Daddy came early in the morning to read books to you and be with you before they wheeled you away. As they pushed you down the hallway, we walked behind you and watched as the double doors swung shut after you went through with the doctors. You took our heart with you through those doors, and the next few hours were the longest anyone has ever known. Thankfully, you were amazing during surgery, and Dr. Karen Kling was able to repair your CDH hernia...she moved your intestines from your lungs back to your tummy where they belonged. You are such a strong little girl. Did you know that half of babies who are born with CDH don't survive? And half of those babies that do make it have a VERY hard time? You are our little miracle, and I believe with all of my heart, that my grandma...who you are named after, watched over you from Heaven. She'll always be your angel, and you'll always be ours.
I'm so lucky to have you Baby Boo...
Love you forever and ever,
Mommy

Happy Almost Birthday Baby Girl!
Hi Love,
We had your birthday party on Saturday and it was amazing!!! You had so many people there that love you...what a lucky little girl. Mommy went a little overboard...but it was completely worth it! (Taco bar, fun decorations, coordinating birthday dress and specially ordered bow...) I can't wait to tell you all about it one day...and show you all the sweet pictures! Everyone wanted to hold you, but you weren't so into that. :) Grandpa Moose flew in from Idaho, and Aunt Andree, Uncle Del, and Aunt Christina came down from Los Gatos. Your NICU nurse, Dani, came with her family. Of course Grandma and Auntie Tanya, all Mommy's friends like Auntie Amy (and your boyfriend Bodey), Auntie Lauren, Auntie Moo & Tony, Auntie Kelli and Uncle Rusty (and your other boyfriend Kade)...the list goes on and on! Daddy's friends and family were there too...and you had fun with all your cousins...especially Riley! Grandma's best friend Kamii's daughter Sara just LOVES you and was by your side the entire day!
You made a grand entrance to your party in the super cute new "coupe" from Auntie...and Grandma gave you a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. You have SO many fun new toys...it's like a toy store in our house!
Anyways Boo-Boo...I love you more than words can say. I cannot believe that tomorrow afternoon, at 1:41pm, you will be ONE YEAR OLD!!! I feel like I'm going to blink and my little baby will be all grown up. Please take your time!
Love you forever and ever!!
