Hi Family!

Well, now that it is "officially" Winter Break...and we actually have a free moment, I figured it was time that I send a baby update! The first ultrasound pictures (in case you haven't already seen them) are from the first doctor visit in November when they told me I was almost 8 weeks along...Surprise!!! The baby looks like a little lima bean in those pics! :) That whole appointment I think I was in shock because all I kept saying was "wow."

The next ultrasounds are from our December appointment at almost 13 weeks, and this time we were surprised because the baby looks like a REAL baby! :) You can even see it's little hand up in the air...I told Jeff that's because the baby is still dancing from the New Kids on the Block concert I went to with the girls right before Thanksgiving!

The last picture is one of the baby's feet...so cute! At the last appointment they took all sorts of measurements from the ultrasound and blood work from me (NOT FUN) to make sure everything is going well and they've already let us know that everything looks great!

We won't get to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl until January 19th...which seems like forever away. We can't wait to find out!!!

I promise to be much better about the updates...I think I'll make it my New Year's resolution! :)

Google Girl

Hi Love Bug!

Aren't you the cutest thing EVER!?!?! Mommy loves Google, and mommy LOVES you! Your Uncle Greg gave you your awesome onesie...I like to think that he is personally responsible for the amazingness of Google! Funny!

Mommy Can't Sleep

Hey Baby Boo!

Mommy can't sleep! :( At least you are all snug next to me. Do you know that sometimes I just stare at your sweet face while you sleep? (I also stare to make sure you are still breathing...I hear it's a mommy thing!) How cute are you in this picture? I don't know why, but this has become your new favorite naptime position...and you wake up with BunBun marks on your face!

You've been so busy learning and growing every day...I'm so proud! Really though, you don't have to grow up too fast. It is pretty fun though to watch you figure things out...like today when I put some Cheerios in a cup for you, you weren't sure exactly what to do. You slowly put your hand in and looked at me, then you were so excited to pull out a Cheerio. Next thing you know, I looked over and you were trying to "drink" your Cheerios...too cute!

Sleepy Baby

My Sweet Boo,

Have I told you how much I love you? I love every minute with you, but especially when you're sleeping next to me, all snuggled up! When you fall asleep you stick your little thumb in your mouth and grab for something soft to hold. When you were a little baby it used to be the corner of my shirt, and sometimes it still is, but you'll also grab for Bun-Bun's ears or even your bib. Beyond cute. You also make a little grunting noise that means sleep is on it's way. I know you're getting to be a big girl, and I know everyone says you should sleep on your own in your crib, but the way I see it, when you're all grown up I don't want to wish that I had spent more time snuggling you and sleeping next to you. So, I'm making sure to get in all my baby time...even though you'll always be my baby. I think I'm going to go watch your sweet little face as you dream...
