Baby Girl,

Yesterday you went to church for the first time with mommy and grandma. It was Palm Sunday. You were mesmerized by the windows and ceiling of the pretty church, and you kept smiling at the little boy sitting across the row from us. Before church started the priest came up and asked your name, and he gave you a blessing. Very special!

Miss Mia,

We had so much fun at the park today! It was so beautiful outside! You love the swings more and more each time we go. I love to watch how your little mind is working everyday when you see new things...today you noticed the way grass feels between your toes. Adorable! You make me appreciate all the little things.

Turkey

Hey Baby Girl!

So remember how the doctor said to start giving you meat? Well, last night we tried to give you your first little bit of ground turkey. You were NOT a fan!!! I think it was because it didn't "melt" in your mouth like puffs and Cheerios. Oh well! We'll try another day...just means you can still be a baby for that much longer!

Beautiful Day

Hey Baby Bean!

We went to the park today! It was such BEAUTIFUL weather we just couldn't stay inside! You got to go down the slide with daddy, and on the big girl swings with mommy. You even went on the bucket swing by yourself...what a big girl!

Valentine's Day

Dear Baby Girl,

Did I ever tell you about the first time I felt you kick me when you were in my belly? :) It was very early on Valentine's Day morning and I was just getting into bed, but I couldn't fall asleep. I put my hand on my belly, and I felt a little tap. At first I didn't believe it, but you did it again, and I couldn't stop smiling (but no one was awake to tell)! Thank you for the best Valentine's Day present ever!

P.S. I still miss feeling your little feet in my belly!

Nine Months

Hi Baby Boo!

Today you had your 9 month appointment with Dr. de Frietas. You're such a big girl..I can't believe it. Right now you're snoozing away like a little angel. Can you believe that you're old enough to eat TABLE FOOD?!?!? And feed YOURSELF?!?!? You're growing up too fast...slow it down a bit for Mommy! :)
